The Munich Residence is open daily.
It is only closed on the following days: 1 January, Shrove Tuesday and 24 / 25 / 31 December.

Fountain machinery in the
The fountain machinery can be viewed every day. It is open from April to October daily from 10 am to 2 pm.
Guided tours
Visitors can explore the Munich Residence on their own without a guided tour; guided tours led by private guides are permitted.
You can make use of our free audio guide. Audio guide tours are available for the Residence Museum and the Treasury in the following languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic.
It is also possible to book (adults or children).
The City of Munich regularly organises guided tours of the Munich Residence.
